About Our Hunts:
Our hunts are guided, tent backpack hunts. Hunt prices include equipped camps, food, guide services, and field preparation/dressing of trophies. The client pays for final meat and trophy preparation, shipping and crating. Hunt prices do not include your licenses, tags, personal gear, or transportation to and from the hunt area, hotel or accomodations other than while hunting. Depending on the hunt area transportation to and from the hunt area is approximately $600 to $900 per hunter. Hunt dates include travel days into and out of hunting camps.
Trophy quality animals are most often isolated in rough terrain. If you decide to book a hunt and are hoping to bag a trophy, you need to prepare yourself for the rigors of the hunt. You must be in top physical condition, be prepared mentally to cope with the ever-changing Alaska weather that may threaten a day's hunting, and you must have the propert equipment - ad be proficient in its use. The hunter's ability to enfure the elements is key to the success of a trophy hunt. Alaska is know for its changing weather and its diverse geographic regions. Be prepared for rain at some time during your hunt. Good quality rain gear is a survival tool.
There is a fee of $400.00 per day for non-hunting companions. Non-hunting companions will also be responsible for their own air charter fees which can range from $600 to $900 per person depending on hunt area.
An animal wounded is an animal killed. If a client wounds an animal and it escapes, the client will be allowed to search for it until found or your hunt is over. We encourage you to only take shots you are sure of. We believe that the game and its precious value on this earth deserve your respect.
It takes a mature, experienced hunter to appreciate these words of caution. That's why we prefer to deal with mature, experienced hunters who understand that the price they pay for their hunt is that of perseverance.
