KODIAK BROWN BEAR DRAWING PERMIT HUNTS:

Resident and non-residents must apply for drawing permit tags for these limited hunts.  Non-residents must apply in November for the following spring and fall hunts.  Spring drawing success for non-residents is 33%, and up to 30% for the fall hunt.  Hunt numbers to apply for are : Spring DB-134, Fall DB-104.  There will be three permits issued for each hunt.

Please note: we have chosen to end our affiliation with Kodiak Adventures Lodge effective August 10, 2009.  If you are a permit winner and have received a letter from us please know that you are free to choose the guide that you feel will best serve your needs.  Alaska does not have exclusive guide use areas which keeps the spirit of freedom of choice and free enterprise alive in our State.  If you have any questions at all about your permit hunt in Kodiak please feel free to give us a call at 907-745-2834.

MOUNTAIN GOAT DRAWING PERMIT HUNTS:

Hunt DG-476 is a drawing permit hunt.  A good trophy goat population exists on Kodiak Island.  The hunt is conducted from spike camps and the lodge.  Twenty permits are issued for this area and drawing success rates are very good.  The applications for this hunt are available November 1st of the year before the hunt.  The deadline for submission of applications is December 6th.
